Mestre Bispo, the leader of the group of Northeastern capoeiristas used to meet to play capoeira in Sao Paul (from the 1940's). Mestre Sombra joined this group, called Bahia do Berimbau, in 1963.
Heritage
Jacob's Capoeira Master's, Mestres Silvia Bazzarelli and Marcos dos Santos both trained at Senzala De Santos, headed by Mestre Sombra who was taught by Mestre Bispo.
