Brazilian Active Arts

This is a Capoeira Canal project set up with the intention to collaborate with other artists working in Brazilian Arts, developing awareness and understanding of Brazilian cultural forms.

The project has provided opportunities for West London residents to participate in the diverse and celebratory activities that this rich heritage encompasses, and have successfully sought support from funding bodies for our projects. We welcome enquiries from groups and individuals wishing to collaborate with us on future projects as well as those wishing to participate in our upcoming events.

The Capoeira Canal Berimbau

We are pleased to announce that our own British Berimbaus are now available. Sourced from shoots of sustainably copiced English woodland trees, individually whittled and assembled by hand. For orders please call or use contact form.
